Getting started
Recovery seed
The recovery seed is a backup for your entire device. If your device is lost or damaged, you can recover your wallets using the seed phrase. It is generated on your device and only shown once. It should go without saying that if somebody finds your seed, they can easily clone your device. Do not store the seed or communicate it digitally. Support will never ask for your seed.
Quick Start Guide
- Check the package of your Skywallet for any signs of tampering. Unpack the Skywallet if the packaging is intact.
- Download the latest version of the Desktop Wallet and the Skywallet Daemon below.
- If you are using a Mac, install the daemon. It will automatically run in the background afterwards. If you are using Windows, run the daemon everytime you want to connect to the Skywallet.
- Connect the Skywallet to your computer and follow the instructions in the Desktop Wallet.
Treatment
Do not expose the Skywallet to extreme temperatures or elements. It is not waterproof, heat or acid resistant.
